A pack\x27s total energy — nominal voltage multiplied by capacity in amp-hours — and the figure airlines use to decide what you may fly with.
A 3S 5000mAh pack is 11.1V x 5Ah = 55.5Wh. Spare lithium packs must go in carry-on baggage; up to 100Wh is generally accepted, 101-160Wh needs airline approval, and above 160Wh is not permitted. Always check your specific airline.
