Blowover / flip at speed
The boat flips over at speed — the turn fin or hull is generating too much lift and rolling it.
💡 The idea: Kill the lift and get the bow back down.
Try these in order
Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.
-
1
Reduce turn fin angle, or add a V-groove to the fin's bottom edge
The fin is acting as a lifting surface in the roll — de-tune it first.
-
2
Reduce negative strut angle / angle the prop thrust down slightly
Forces the bow down, directly killing the lift that causes the flip.
-
3
Move weight (battery) forward
Lowers the CG and resists the rotation that starts a blowover.
