Chine-walking — side-to-side rocking at speed
The hull rocks side-to-side at speed instead of tracking flat and straight.
💡 The idea: Get more of the hull's chines biting the water again.
Try these in order
Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.
-
1
Raise the strut
Puts more of the hull chines in contact with the water, restoring lateral bite — the established fix.
-
2
Move CG forward as speed increases
Pairs with the strut-raise per racer convention to settle the hull.
