Acceleration / turns🚤 Boat

Cavitation — prop losing bite

The prop spins up with a whine but the boat doesn't accelerate — it's drawing air, not water.

💡 The idea: Bury the prop deeper and stop it pulling in surface air.

Try these in order

Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.

  1. 1
Lower the strut to bury more of the prop

Cavitation is air being drawn into the blades — get them deeper.

  2. 2
Reduce prop angle if it's too steep

Excess angle draws surface air into the disc.

  3. 3
Extend the strut hub behind the blade

Lets disturbed water rejoin before it reaches the prop.
