Bogging down — won't get on plane

The boat struggles to climb onto plane and just bogs at half-throttle.

Try these in order

Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.

    Reduce prop pitch

    Too much pitch overloads the drive before it ever reaches planing speed.

    Adjust trim tabs down slightly

    Helps a stern-heavy boat transition onto plane without stalling.

    Recheck CG

    Too far forward and the bow plows, killing acceleration onto plane.
