Turning too sharp or not sharp enough

The boat either darts too hard into turns or won't turn in enough.

💡 The idea: The turn fin and rudder caster are your two turn-in controls.

Try these in order

Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.

  1. 1
    Adjust turn fin position fore/aft

    Forward = twitchier/oversteer; rearward = more push/understeer.

  2. 2
    Adjust rudder caster

    Reducing negative caster tightens turn-in without inducing hop.

  3. 3
    Reduce rudder throw/sensitivity at speed

    Less input is needed at race speed than intuition suggests.
