Events, Races & Competition Policy

RC Crash Crew · updated Jul 5, 2026

RC Crash Crew hosts listings for events, races, time trials, and challenges submitted by members and organizers across the community. Here is who is responsible for what.

Community-listed events

Unless a listing explicitly says RC Crash Crew is the organizer, we are not — we are hosting a listing someone in the community submitted. Event details (time, location, rules) can change after posting; always confirm directly with the organizer before traveling to an event. Venue permission, insurance, and safety at the actual event are the organizer's responsibility, not ours.

If you organize an event

Post accurate, current information, and update or remove your listing if plans change. Only list an event at a venue you actually have permission to use. Do not falsely claim RC Crash Crew or any manufacturer/sponsor affiliation you do not have. Do not run an event that would be unlawful where it takes place. If minors are expected to attend or compete, make sure your event's own rules and supervision reflect that.

If you participate

Running RC — cars, boats, planes, drones — carries ordinary hobby risk: impact, water, spinning props, hot engines. By showing up to any event found through this site, you accept that ordinary risk and agree to follow the venue's rules, the organizer's briefing and marshaling instructions, spectator-safety guidance, and local law. See our RC Safety & Liability page for the specifics by discipline.

Race results and standings

Race results, series standings, and time-trial leaderboards on RC Crash Crew are entered by club scorers and organizers themselves — we do not independently verify every result, timing method, or class ruleset. Treat a listed "crawler class" or competition ruleset as the version that organizer is running that day, not a universal standard, unless the listing cites a specific governing body or rulebook.

RC Crash Crew-run events

If we ever directly organize or sponsor an event ourselves (as opposed to hosting a community listing), we will say so clearly on that event's page, and it may come with its own specific rules or a participant waiver in addition to this policy.
