RC is a hobby that pulls in kids, teenagers, and adults alike — often in the same family. This page lays out the actual age rules behind the site and why they exist.
The basic rule
You must be at least 13 years old to create an RC Crash Crew account — we ask for and check a date of birth at signup, and an account cannot be created for anyone younger. If you are between 13 and 17, we recommend a parent or guardian know you are using the site, especially before you use any feature involving real money or meeting people in person.
Features with a higher age line
Some features carry real-world risk beyond ordinary posting and browsing, so they are restricted to adults, or require direct parent/guardian involvement for a minor:
Marketplace buying and selling — real payment between members, 18+ or parent/guardian-handled. See our Marketplace Rules.
Group Buys — real money pooled and paid off-platform, 18+ or parent/guardian-handled. See our Group Buy Terms.
Going Live — broadcasts your real-time location to other members for an in-person meetup. Any member under 18 should only go live with a parent or guardian's knowledge, and should pick a public spot rather than a home address. See our Live Location & Meetup Policy.
Reporting an underage account
If you believe an account belongs to someone under 13, report it through our Contact page — include the username if you have it. We will review and remove any account confirmed to be under our age minimum.
Parents and guardians
If you want to see what data we hold about your child's account, request an export, or have it removed, contact us and we will work with you directly — see our Privacy Policy for what we do and do not collect in the first place (notably: no address, no phone number, no payment details, ever).
