🔋 Capacitor (Cap Pack)
An electrical component on (or added to) an ESC that smooths the voltage spikes created as the ESC rapidly switches power to the motor.
Capacitors protect the ESC\x27s internal components — they do not add power. Never run an ESC with its capacitor removed, and replace one that is bulging, leaking or has been knocked loose.
