Traction roll — tips over in high-grip corners
The car trips over its outside tires and rolls in corners when grip is high.
💡 The idea: Lower the roll tendency: widen, stiffen, and drop the centre of gravity.
Try these in order
Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.
-
1
Widen the track (front and rear)
A wider stance resists rolling over.
-
2
Add / stiffen sway bars
Directly limits body roll that leads to the trip-over.
-
3
Thicker shock oil
Slows weight transfer so the chassis doesn't lurch onto the outside tires.
-
4
Harder / less aggressive tire
Slightly less peak grip removes the trip point on hot tracks.
-
5
Lower the ride height / centre of gravity
Less leverage to roll.
-
6
Stiffer springs
Reduces roll angle.
