Straights & entry

Darty / nervous — twitchy and hard to hold straight

The car is over-reactive and wanders; it takes constant correction on the straight.

💡 The idea: Calm the front and stabilise the rear.

Try these in order

Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.

  1. 1
Reduce front toe-out (or add a hair of toe-in on-road)

Less aggressive turn-in = calmer car.

  2. 2
    More rear toe-in

    Adds straight-line stability.

  3. 3
    Thicker front shock oil

Slows steering response so it's smoother.

  4. 4
Dial in steering expo / reduce EPA on the radio

    Softens centre steering feel.

  5. 5
    Slightly longer wheelbase (if adjustable)

    More stable at speed.
