On-power (corner-exit) oversteer — loose under throttle
The rear breaks loose when you get back on the throttle out of the corner.
💡 The idea: Smooth the power delivery and add rear grip under acceleration.
Try these in order
Make one change at a time and re-test — that's how you learn what your car likes.
-
1
Thicker rear diff fluid
Smooths how power hits the rear tires so they hook up instead of spinning.
-
2
More rear toe-in
Stabilises the rear under drive.
-
3
Softer rear springs / thinner rear oil
Lets the rear squat and plant under power.
-
4
Softer rear tire or fresher compound
More mechanical grip where you're losing it.
-
5
Smoother throttle — gear up slightly or soften ESC punch/throttle expo
Less initial hit = less wheelspin.
-
6
Increase anti-squat (if adjustable)
Helps the rear plant under acceleration.
