🎨 Backing (paint the inside)

RC bodies are clear polycarbonate (Lexan) painted on the INSIDE, so the shiny shell protects the paint.

🖌️ How it's done

Paint outside-in: the FIRST colour you spray inside is what shows on the outside. Lay your detail colours first, then back the whole shell with white or silver so the colours stay bright and opaque. Never paint the outside — it scratches and dulls.
