Very small models, roughly 1/24 scale and smaller, designed to be run indoors or in tight spaces.
Perfect for winter and apartments, though the tiny parts and short runtimes are the trade-off.
What it actually does
Micro RC covers the very small scales — 1/24, 1/28 and smaller. Their appeal is that they turn a living-room floor, a desk or a garage into a track, so you can run all year without weather or space being a factor.
In practice
Micro crawlers, micro drift cars and micro touring cars all have followings, and many have their own racing classes on small indoor tracks. Parts are proportionally smaller and more delicate, but the whole model costs little enough that experimenting is cheap.
Worth knowing
Small size means small parts and small screws. A magnetic parts tray and a decent set of small hex drivers make micro work far less frustrating.
