🔩 Titanium Hardware

Screws, turnbuckles and shafts made from titanium instead of steel — lighter and corrosion-resistant, but expensive.

Titanium is roughly 40% lighter than steel and will not rust, which is why it is popular for turnbuckles. It is softer than good hardened steel, though, so hex sockets can round out if you use a worn or wrong-size driver.
