🚁 Head Dampers
Rubber or elastomer bushings in the rotor head that cushion the blade grips against the main shaft.
Harder dampers give crisper, more direct cyclic response; softer ones smooth the machine out and are kinder to a learner. They harden and wear with age and are a common hidden cause of vibration that no amount of tracking or balancing will fix.
