One of Tamiya's most legendary scale trucks: an all-metal ladder-frame chassis with real leaf-spring live axles, a shifting 3-speed transmission/transfer case, and oil dampers, topped with a highly detailed Toyota Hilux (RN36) body. Helped define the "scale realism" branch of RC alongside the buggy-racing branch. Re-released in 2012 as kit 58519 due to enduring collector demand.
