Worth knowing
Tamiya's first-ever shaft-driven 4WD off-road buggy and the kit that helped establish 4WD buggies as mainstream in hobby-grade RC. Introduced the durable "Oval Block" tire tread pattern used on many later Tamiya kits, plus front/rear mono-shock oil dampers and fully enclosed gearboxes. Considered a cornerstone of any serious vintage Tamiya collection; spawned the later Super Hotshot and Boomerang.
