📡 Dual Rate
Limits how far a channel travels for full stick input, shown as a percentage — separate from expo, which shapes the curve rather than the endpoint.
Lower dual rate = less max steering/throw for the same stick movement, useful in high-speed or high-wind conditions.
What it actually does
Dual rate limits how far the servo travels at full stick, reducing the maximum steering angle available. Where expo changes the shape of the response, dual rate changes the end point — it genuinely gives the car less steering.
In practice
It is the right tool when a car has more steering lock than it can use, which is common on high-grip surfaces where full lock simply scrubs the front tires. Many drivers wind dual rate down for fast, flowing tracks and back up for tight technical ones.
Worth knowing
Dual rate also protects the steering linkage on cars where full lock puts the servo against a mechanical stop.

If you want a garage that remembers everything, it works from your first run. If you want a busy forum, come back later, or be one of the reasons it gets busy.
