🎨 Backing (paint the inside)

RC bodies are clear polycarbonate (Lexan) painted on the INSIDE, so the shiny shell protects the paint.

🖌️ How it's done

Paint outside-in: the FIRST color you spray inside is what shows on the outside. Lay your detail colors first, then back the whole shell with white or silver so the colors stay bright and opaque. Never paint the outside — it scratches and dulls.
