🎥 Tiny Whoop
A tiny, lightweight ducted-prop FPV drone (typically 65-75mm) safe enough to fly indoors — the entry point for a lot of FPV pilots.
What it actually does
A tiny whoop is a very small ducted-prop quad, light enough and guarded enough to fly indoors around people without being dangerous. They are the standard way into FPV because you can practise year-round in a living room and crashes cost nothing.
In practice
Prop guards mean bouncing off walls rather than breaking, and the low weight means very little energy in an impact. Flight times are short — a few minutes — so people fly with a handful of small packs and charge in rotation.
Worth knowing
Their tiny packs are still lithium and deserve the same charging habits as large ones. Parallel charging boards for whoop packs are common and the same equal-voltage rule applies.
