🚁 Tail Drive (Torque Tube / Belt)

How power gets from the main gear back to the tail rotor — either a spinning shaft inside the boom or a toothed belt.

Torque tube drive is stiff and precise but transmits more vibration and needs its bearings kept in good order; belt drive is quieter and more forgiving but the belt tension needs checking and can slip if it is left loose.
