📡 Expo
Exponential — softens the response around the center of a radio channel (steering/throttle) for smoother, less twitchy control.
What it actually does
Exponential softens the control response around the centre of the stick or wheel while leaving full travel at the ends untouched. It makes a twitchy car feel calm in your hands without giving up any steering angle or top speed.
In practice
It is set on the transmitter, separately for steering and throttle. Adding steering expo is the usual cure for a car that darts on the straights and is hard to hold in a line. Throttle expo does the same job for a powerful car that is difficult to feed in gently.
Worth knowing
Expo changes feel, not limits. If you actually need less steering angle rather than a gentler response, dual rate is the setting you want.
