🚁 Fixed Pitch
A helicopter whose main blades are set at one unchanging angle, so climb and descent come from changing rotor speed instead of blade pitch.
Simpler, cheaper and easier to repair than a collective pitch machine, but the response to the stick is slower and there is no inverted flight or real autorotation. Fine for small indoor models; most pilots move to collective pitch as they progress.
