🚁 Throttle Hold

A switch that drops the engine to idle or cuts the motor entirely while leaving you full collective pitch control.

It is how you practise autorotations, and it is the single most important safety switch on a helicopter — leave it on until the moment you intend to spool up. Confirm which way your switch means "held" every time you pick the model up.
