🔩 Pivot Ball
A suspension design where the hub is held between two threaded balls, so screwing them in or out adjusts the geometry.
Found on a number of touring cars and buggies. It is compact and adjustable, but the balls and cups wear and develop slop, which shows up as inconsistent camber and steering feel.
